Lead Wire Spooled

Lead wire is round and comes on a spool. I never cut it or break it off, I just leave it on the spool as I wind around the hook shank. This allows you to add weight to your flies which I normally do when fishing nymphs, dead drifting streamers or adding a little more weight to a girdle bug even though I have a little weight in the bead. Sometimes it takes a little more to get it down. It always adds a little more on the dipping effect when pausing when stripping streamers. This can be harmful so make sure you wash your hands after every use. it comes in 5 different sizes, but I find myself using more of the .015 for nymphs and .020 for streamers like wooliy buggers etc.
