This dense 2″ long fur that is fine textured, durable hair for winging steelhead, sea-run cutthroat & streamer flies. It will remind you a little of marabou but has zero waste. I use this for the tail when tying the Davy Wotton Shad during our shad kills on the White River. This usually happens in March, and in the fall around September depending on generation.
