A Journey Down the Norfork: Post-Tornado Reflections and Fishing Tips

Last week, I had the opportunity to float down the Norfork River, taking advantage of the low water levels that followed the recent tornado during Memorial Day weekend. The storm hit around 4 a.m., leaving its mark on the landscape.

As I floated down the river, I took pictures to help others navigate and understand various sections of the river, aiming to enhance their fishing experience. Some of the images show the damage caused by the tornado. Unfortunately, the storm interrupted the beginning of the cicada hatch, abruptly ending what had just started.

Below are the images, which you can click to enlarge. I will continue updating this page to provide a clearer understanding of this beautiful 4.8-mile tailwater.
