Fly fishing with wet flies is often misunderstood, but using these fly patterns is a great way to target White River trout that are feeding in the surface-film. Wet flies are not only effective at fooling the trophy browns and rainbows on the White River System, they are also pretty patterns to look at. Feel free to contact Jeremy Hunt at Taneycomo Trout if you have any questions regarding how to fly fish with wet flies. He is one of the few White River fly fishing guides who uses wet flies as a part of his arsenal.
